Doña Carmen de Cifuentes is a main character and primary antagonist in Netflix's Cable Girls. She is portrayed by Concha Velasco.

Personality[]
Carmen is the villain that commits heinous acts purely for her own self-aggrandisement. She goes out of her way to prevent Alba from having relations with her son, Carlos, to the extent that she kidnaps Alba's daughter and consequently causes a rift between the couple. Her lack of morals and remorse is shown in the way she skillfully and impenitently manipulates everyone around her to achieve her true goal, which is getting the company back. This is shown in the way she manipulates the maternal bond she has with both Elisa and Carlos to further her personal agenda and makes them believe that either is dead after the fire incident at the church. The detrimental effect this has is it makes her children vulnerable and thus seek her emotional support, as she is supposedly the only member of the family they have left. When they find out about her lies, she loses the trust and respect of both children and is ultimately at a loss of reaching her desired goal. Lidia manages to get her daughter back, and Carmen is arrested by the police.
